Water: a Precious Asset

“Water is life’s matter. It is the matrix, mother and medium. There is no life without water.”

Albert Szent-Gyorgyi

The Nobel prize for medicine of 1937 was already foreseeing what the entire world, today, anywhere, from the most civilized to the poorest area, define water as precious asset for Humanity.

In 1981, OMC was treating water in compliance with direct market‘s requests. Industries needed to re-utilize or re-introduce in primary waters.

A Present made of Water

Today, OMC, with its 45 employees, a turnover of 12 millions and Made in Italy production of which it is particularly proud, is a reference point for treating and recovering waters and fibres. Today, being leader means being aware of the value and respect of the treated element. In this view, OMC researches and develops projects for the recovery of environmental water. Also in view of the climatic change that characterised the entire Mediterranean area.

A Future made of Challenges

OMC looks onto the future because aware that it will face new important challenges. It will continue investing in the Italian territory but with a look onto globalization, with constant efforts in researching new technologies for a sustainable world and training human resources.

Value the Territory

OMC, always present in the local territory and aware of social topics, in collaboration with other companies in the area, has donated a vehicle to carry disabled to the assistance centre and offers services for elderly at C.A.S.A through Associazione Progetti del Cuore and has contributed to the construction of the lift to access Schio Dome.

Since a few years, it has been supporting Fondazione Città della Speranza, the Grest of Istituto Salesiano Don Bosco in Schio and some local young soccer teams, Poleo, Calcio Schio, and Rugby Alto Vicentino. Since 2017, it has always been supporting Alto Academy Football Club of Marano Vicentino.

Beside the local territory, it supported Casa dei Bambini of Laura Vezzaro in Peru for many years, the flooded territories of Liguria and remote adoption of a baby girl through Save the Children.
